Everything You Need to Know About IKEA Delivery

Thinking about shopping at IKEA? Don’t worry! We’re here to give you the things you should know about IKEA delivery!

Let’s get started.

What Types of IKEA Delivery Services Are Available?

IKEA offers a few different delivery services, so you can select the one that best suits your needs. Small delivery orders, in particular, starts at $19 and includes assembling up to three furniture items.

Premium services can also be added, such as disassembly and recycling, for an additional fee.

For larger orders, delivery starts at $49 and includes assembling up to five furniture items. The team will place your items in the room of your choice, and they’ll even take away all the packing materials.

Additionally, the pick up with delivery starts at $69, and a team will pick up your order from an IKEA store and deliver it directly to your doorstep. They’ll even assemble everything for you so you can sit back and relax.

What Are the Benefits of Using IKEA’s Delivery Services?

Of course, the benefits of using IKEA’s delivery services are worth the investment. Aside from its delivery fees that start at only $6, IKEA has partnered with some of the most popular third-party delivery services in many locations.

In that sense, you don’t have to worry about whether or not your area is covered because the odds are in your favor. Best of all, IKEA has a timeliness guarantee which delivers items within 2-4 days after you’ve ordered them.

However, this timeline may change depending on where you live. But no matter where you are, IKEA will always ensure your order is delivered on time and safely.

What Happens if My Order Arrives Damaged or Incomplete?

If the delivery arrives and something is missing or damaged, you don’t need to worry. IKEA provides customer assistance for damaged and missing orders.

If only one part of your product is damaged, you can always visit your closest IKEA store to get a replacement part.

You can also contact their customer service team for help if the entire product arrives damaged or incomplete. They may ask for photos or videos of the damaged item, so take those as soon as possible.

In case there’s been an overcharge, IKEA provides refunds, too. While the process may take seven to ten business days, it’s guaranteed that you will receive a full refund for your trouble.

Plan Ahead for Your Delivery

IKEA delivery is a great way to get your furniture without having to go through the hassle of picking it up yourself.

So be sure to measure your doorways and prepare for access to your home. And, as always, read the return policy to familiarize yourself with the process in case something goes wrong.
