Fair warning, this is a HUGE list. I got a ton of great deals and my pantry is STOCKED! Before we get to the breakdown, here’s a few things you need to know. Some of the coupons I used have limits, I used them either over a couple days or with my son. I know some of you love to scream coupon fraud at the drop of a hat for things you don’t have the full story on, no fraud here. Maybe you’ll get lucky at the next blog. Remember you can enter to win a Walmart Gift Card here, a Target Gift Card here, a Coupon Binder and Inserts here, and you can see my Target Shopping trip here. Also, you can follow me on FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, RSS, or email. Let’s take a look.

Please notice that I got a bunch of fresh produce. Usually the knock on couponers is that we never get real food and that just isn’t true. There are always deals to be found.
How did you do?

Good for you! It’s nice to see that it IS possible to save money on fresh foods as well. Did the transaction go smoothly for you?
Aarn Farmer says
Oh yeah. Just to be clear this represents multiple shopping trips over the last week. I’m going to make a video later today clarifying how I used the Nivea coupon especially, but yeah, it all went smooth. My Walmart kinda knows what I’m about now and if you have flyers in the cart they pretty much automatically know you will be price matching.
Diane says
Wow Nice trip. WTG on the fresh fruits and vegetables. Nice price for avocados, my toddler goes through 2 a day, cheapest down here is just now 3/1.00.
Aarn Farmer says
Wow, you have a toddler that eats avocados? That’s cool, mine were too picky for that. Also, when my kids were little I didn’t know how to grocery shop for free so we didn’t get much fresh food.
Mel says
I had to laugh at you comment about eating all the oranges. I always find it rude when people make negative comments on blogs about what the blogger buys. Just today I saw where someone had left rude comments on another blog because the blogger bought 6 pounds of apples to make various things (including some applesauce to can for later). Don’t people realize that women have been stocking up on “in season” items for decades. And what gives anyone the right to complain about someone else’s grocery habits. So, you go girl! on the OJ, enjoy every sip. For .08 a pop, that’s a steal.
Aarn Farmer says
I’m always stunned at what people have opinions on. What do you care what I do with what I buy? If I want to buy 28 Niveas and use them for Christmas ornaments, what is that to you? A few weeks ago I had bought 6 boxes of laxative and didn’t put any of my fruit in the post. I had a rude person say that if I ate better food I wouldn’t need the laxative. I thought, how do you know what I eat and why do you care? That was when I decided to include my produce on these posts. I’m not sure if people think I only buy what goes in these posts or what but a family of 3 can’t live on oranges alone. These are just my best deals. Also, I’m a guy FYI 🙂

Christine @ Saved By The Sale says
That’s really awesome that you got all that produce!! I never take the time to price match at Walmart, but it looks like I should!! 8)
Aarn Farmer says
It’s definitely allowed us to eat more fresh food.

I will say gosh u pay 2.48 for milk? Where? ours is 3.99 a gallon. lol. The only thing i am questioning is the use of the bengay coupon. i have seen people use this and the coupon is for the 4 oz tube not the 2 oz. the 4 oz tube is like 9.48 or so. Not griping at you, just saying ive seen alot of people use that coupon and its for the bigger size tube. I tried to use it myself, before i realized this. good job though.
Aarn Farmer says
Yes, our milk prices are usually cheaper than most I hear!
The Bengay I bought are the 4 oz ones. 🙂 Our 4 oz Bengay is $5.98 here! I guess our Bengay and our milk is cheaper here!

I’m on my way to WalMart with my Dominick’s (Safeway) ad in hand! One question regarding the Wheat Thins. In my ad it’s $1.99 w/card and in-ad coupon. Does WalMart honor that type of pricing or does it have to be on sale for $1.99?
Thanks for your time.

Yes, they will use a competitor’s coupon as long as it show the cost of the item. They won’t take one for cents off as in $1 off of 2 or 50% off but, one that states the actual price you will pay for the item – they will take that one. Basically it’s price matching.

That’s great! I’m just about to pour me a cup of that Folgers Instant. I had never had it before yesterday and with the La Dulce creamer I got a few weeks ago it is VERY good. Makes a greagt drink to watch the Rangers beat the Tigers with.
Sabrina says
I only wish I was this good! Lol. I am kinda just starting out, the best I have done so far is getting $14.00 worth of stuff on a mini trip for .49c, which was actually less than what I had calculated.
Aarn Farmer says
You gotta start somewhere. Stay with it, you’ll have a nice little stockpile in no time!
Denise says
How do you price match? Do you go to customer service with the ad or just bring it to the register?
Aarn Farmer says
No, you go right to the register and before they ring up what you are price matching tell them it’s on sale at a local store and for how much. You aren’t even supposed to need the ad but I recommend taking it anyway.
