Have you ever given out non-candy items for Halloween?
We didn’t celebrate Halloween when our kids were growing up, we normally did the Fall Festival at church or something similar. When they were teens we went to a “Hell House”, they always looked forward to that. However, since then, we do pass out candy on Halloween for the neighborhood kids.
This year though, I think we are going to go the non-candy route. We don’t eat sugar anymore and sugar really is causing a weight and Diabetic epidemic for kids and adults alike, so, we are going to be “that house” this year and pass out toys instead!
