My Mom moved here a couple of years ago and it was a big change for her, too. She lived in Kentucky until she was 16 and then moved to Florida – that was a big adjustment for her, too.
She said the first 2 dozen shrimp her neighbors brought the family went into the trash after the first bite! Now? She loves seafood! So, I imagine she will get used to the Mexican food here in Texas as well!
