I had the opportunity growing up to go to many camps.  I went to North Carolina each year to camp during the school year with my school – it was cold, but we had a blast!  We took many classes during this winter break and I learned to do many things there and at the other camps I attended as a kid.  It’s a great experience for kids of all ages.

As youth pastors my husband and I took teens to camp every year for 20 years and on may retreats.  It’s a great time to get away and learn about the outdoors and be a little more independent.  I recommend camp for all kids.
