Dian and I got invited out to the Grand Reopening of the Cheddars Restaurant in Bedford Tx to try some of their new dishes and I thought you might be interested in hearing about it. I had to stop and think about how long it had been in a Cheddars and I think it had been at least a decade or two so I had forgotten how good their food is.
First up was their new Grilled Baja Chicken dish that was very good. It was moist chicken with black beans, rice and pico de gallo. It was quite tasty and only 490 calories.
By far the best thing was the little Cheesecake shooters. It was this incredible cheesecake on top of a graham cracker crust with a little dab of whipped cream on top. They are only $.99 each so they are a great way to get a little sweetness after a meal for not very much money. I think the thing I appreciated most about this is that on those rare times I get dessert for the kids, we usually get one and let them split it. Now, it would be very easy to allow each of the kids to get their own little dessert. I can definitely see that making my life easier!
