Easter Egg Tree
Take this childhood tradition to another level by hanging the plastic eggs in a tree. Hang the goodie-filled eggs on branches and let the kids pull them and collect the treasures inside.
This is perfect for kids who don’t like roaming around or those who have limited spaces. You can also try and fill only a few pieces while place “A Try Again” message in the others.
Here are some filler ideas that don’t involve candy. But, don’t forget you can whip up one of these fun Easter desserts, too.

Photo Hunt
When thinking of Easter Egg Hunt Ideas I can’t help but, think of one of my favorite Scavenger Hunt type activities. Create a photo hunt for the teens or picture-loving kids.
In addition to collecting traditional Easter eggs, they can look for special eggs that tell an Easter story. They need to open them up and take a photo with their phone (we used to use Polaroids – so happy you can use phones now Polaroid film was SUPER expensive!).
Once the game ends, they need to show the series of photos and they will get a special gift: It can be a gift card at the local store, a coffee shop or from Amazon.
You can also use newer instant cameras that are more economical.

Once the kids have found each item on their list, they can trade it for an exciting treat: A movie ticket, a gift card, a toy, or money.
