I’m sure everyone is busy baking and cooking for tomorrow, or traveling.. Being that I am laid up with my leg, my daughter and my middle son’s girlfriend are cooking for the entire family this year! So, I am thankful for them!
I hope everyone is taking the time to sit down for a minute and survey all the people and love in your lives. So many times we take each other for granted, we know we do, but unfortunately it just happens. Through all the fussing and junk we fight through all year, we know that these are the people that love us and will be there for us through thick and thin.
I look back over the many Thanksgivings I’ve already had in my life, and remember my grandparents, parents and siblings I have shared it with, and I wish I could again spend time with those people. My grandparents are gone, my dad is gone, my mom, brothers and I are scattered all over the map now. Make the most of this time, make a memory with the people you will be with this Thanksgiving, and most of all thank God for giving you all of the blessings he has, not just this year, or today but all throughout your life!
