How To See What YOU Want To See On Facebook!

Today has been a bad day for Facebook.

It has been glitchy and slow all day.

Also, I noticed very few people are seeing the posts that have been posted on the Grocery Shop For FREE Facebook Page.

I told y’all the other day they are wanting us to pay to have our posts show in your feed.  Well, looking at the “reach” of each post to Facebook lately, the posts I have posted, especially today, have reached a maximum of 9% of people who “liked” the page and asked to see it in their feed!

Google and Facebook want to decide for you, by your actions, what you want.  Facebook lets you see more of the things you “like” and share, because they are deciding that’s what you want to see.

Just like when you search on Google, your search results are different if you search logged in and not logged in.  They try to decide what you “really” want to see and show you that.

Sure wish they’d just let us decide…

Anyway, this cool graphic was brought to my attention tonight and I thought I would share it with y’all.  Hopefully it will help!

I have been able to see all of the pages that I have liked because I have put all of my coupon blog pages in a group to the side of my newsfeed ( have one for close friends and family, also). I click on that coupon group and I see everything I want too!

Danielle: 🙁 Seems like signing up for email is the only REAL thing you can trust to see all of the posts you want to see.
Kacie: I wrote about that a while back too and some people tell me they still don’t see it all. 🙁

i don’t use the newsfeed anymore like Kacie Jamison. I created a list of “couponers” and “my friends” so I can just click those lists to see everything and not worry about missing posts.

Danielle Marqueling Yablonsky, I think Kacie Jamison was talking about “Lists”. I wrote this a while back on how to make lists: https://groceryshopforfree.com/2011/09/help-with-the-new-facebook-changes/
