I saved 68% at Walmart this week!

Walmart Brag 7/15

There are some really great deals at Walmart this week!  Let’s take a look at what I was able to pick up.

First up, I was able to pick up a Yo-Crunch yogurt.  These are normally $1.29 but I was able to get it for :fr: because they sent me a coupon in the mail to try it.

Next I grabbed 20 Scotch-Brite Scrub sponges.  They are $.84 each but with the $.75/2 coupon from SS 7/10 they were just $.46 each!

Next I picked up 10 packs of Ball Pectin.  These are normally $.97 but with the $1.00/1 coupon from SS 7/10 they are :fr: with a $.03 overage.  Full disclosure, I have never used pectin and if my life depended on being able to explain what it is or how to use it, I would be a dead man!

Finally, I picked up 4 Oral-B Indicator Toothbrushes.  They are $1.50 each and after the $2.00/2 coupon from P&G 7/3 they were just $.50 each

All in all, I was able to get $33.79 worth of products for $10.90.  That’s a savings of $22.89 or 68%!

How did you do?

Pectin is the substance in fruit that causes the jelly or jam to set. Because different fruit have different amounts , Pectin is used to cut cooking time and receive the same results with different fruits. Use fresh fruit to use your pectin. It is so simply to make jelly and jams with the pectin.

Faye » Thanks! I learned something new today. However, in the interest of full disclosure, I will never ever use Pectin for anything. My idea of canning is to scrape the last bit of jelly from the old jar into the new one! 🙂

You use pectin when you need help setting your jelly & if you don’t what it is then why buy it? 🙂

Amanda » I needed the overage and I figured someone around here could use it. Surely there is someone in my church that cans. No one has asked for them though. Tell you what, if you will send me your address I’ll send them to you.

you said you need it for the overage? What about tax? Is it really an overage?

nicole » In Texas you pay tax after the coupon so there is no tax on these. You also don’t pay tax on food and this may qualify. Not sure about that though.

Christy » I found them at both Walmart and Kroger. Tell you what, I’ll make you the same offer I made someone else. Since I will never use these, if you will send me your address I’ll mail these to you.
