Got a good deal on a few things at WalMart this week, let’s take a look!
First up, I got 8 5pks of Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs. They are normally $.75 a piece but I used the $1.00/2 coupon in SS 6/19 to make them $.25. That’s a savings of $4.00.
Next I got 3 Benadryl Anti-Itch pens. They are $2.38 each but with the $2.00/1 coupon in RP 6/19 I got all 3 for just $.38 each or $1.14 total. That’s a savings of $6.00.
Finally I got a box of Curad bandages. Normally $.96 but with $.50/1 coupon in SS 6/19 they are just $.46.
All totaled, I got $14.10 worth of food and products for $3.60. That’s a savings of $10.50 or 75%.

That is awesome! I got the same deals at wal mart but not as many. I figure you have to have more newspapers, but how do oyu get more papers? Thanks for any help!

I applaud your purchases!!
Unfortunately, my Wal-Mart’s Oscar Mayer weiners are $1.68 a pack. I was able to comp price them with a local grocery store that had them on “sale” for $1.25 a pack. But even with my coupon, that was still 75 cents. I know that is okay, but it sure would have been nice to get them for a quarter!! It’s amazing how different prices are from Wal-mart to Wal-Mart. And they won’t comp a price from another Wal-Mart!!

Meshell » Yeah. Apparently the 5 packs were rare. My store had a ton of them though. Sometimes little aberrations like that come up, I guess I was just lucky.

I actually just used the same coupon on the same size packs this week. it was my first couponing experience and after reading this I am even more proud of myself. I am just learning but hope to get really good at this!
