I just finished my Walmart trip for the week and am going to do my best to stay the heck away from that place for the next week or so. It was absolutely nuts! Before we go on, remember to follow me on FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube, RSS, or email and enter to win a coupon binder here. Here we go!

Thanks for the compliment but remember that for most national chains you don’t have to do any research. I compile all the price matching opportunities on my site, just pick the stores that are within a 50 mile radius of your Walmart and use it to save!

Don’t you have to show them the actual ad? The Walmarts near me look at everything like its fake or a scam. They won’t even take the yes to carrot $3 coupon. The manager said it was fake and they knew nothing about it. Tried all 3 in a 20 mile radius.

You don’t have to show the ad according to their commercials and official policies but I always take the ad anyway, just in case. I hadn’t heard about any problems with that coupon but if I ever run into that problem, I pull the page up on my phone and show them I didn’t just make it up. If they persist, I politely start walking up the chain of command. If no one in store is willing to what’s right, someone in corporate will almost always handle it. That only has to happen a few times before it is never a problem again.

What state/city are you shopping in? Do you know anyone who price matches Minyards?
Grocery Shop For Free at The Mart via Facebook says
I’m in N TX. There aren’t any Minyard’s around here any more and I’ve never seen any one else make this kind of list for them. Of I find one I’ll let you know.
