I know, it’s pretty great.
Jaime says
Hi, This may be a dumb question but how do you get coupons from blogher? Thanks
Aarn Farmer says
It’s not a dumb question, BlogHer is a blogging conference I went to a few months ago. They gave out a bunch of coupons and I still haven’t gone through them all.
Jaime says
Wow that is awesome! I LOVE price matching at walmart and just come across your blog. I bought about 106.00 worth of groceries at walmart and between pricematching and coupons saved 50%! Thanks for posting all the great deals.
Aarn Farmer says
Congrats! Those are big savings!
Aria says
Do you need el rancho ad for price match. We don’t get their ad with our news paper and our highland village walmart is pain in butt.
Thank you.
Aarn Farmer says
Well…that’s complicated. You don’t need any ad and it will be entirely up to the store as to whether or not they will match that store. I always have the ad as a backup but very rarely get asked to produce it. If you could get a hold of one of those ads you would be better off but you can always try.

Our WM has gotten stricter. Today I price matched and the cashier actually asked to see the ad. She even went as far as reading the description of the item. Apparently people have already started misusing the price match policy, but she didn’t explain further.
Aarn Farmer says
That doesn’t surprise me. A few bad apples will always try to ruin it for everyone.

Wal-Mart doesn’t match CVS ECB’s in my area. How did you get the peanut butter and jelly for a $1.00. The ad said 2/$5.00 and then you get the $3.00 in ECB’s for next purchase a CVS?
Aarn Farmer says
My Walmart will. The policy states they will match “Competitors’ ads that feature a specific item for a specified price” and “Preferred shopping card prices for specific items that are in a printed ad”. As long as the final price after ECB’s are listed in the ad, mine will price match it. I’ve never once had an issue.
