I was able to get some great deals at Walmart this week.  Before we get into the breakdown, remember to follow me on FaceBook, RSS, or email so you never miss a deal!  Let’s take a look.

2 loaves of Sara Lee Wheat Bread were $2.18 each.  After the $.55/1 coupon from RP 8/14 they were $1.63 each.

3 Bottles of French’s Worcestershire Sauce were $1.36 each. After the $.75/1 coupon from SS 8/21, they were $.61 each.

2 jars of Mt. Olive Sweet Relish were $1.08 each. After the $.75/1 coupon from SS 8/21, they were $.33 each.

2 jars of Mt Olive Hamburger Slices were $1.50 each.  After the $.75/1 coupon from SS 8/21, they were $.75 each.

12 cans of Libby’s Canned Fruit were $1.18 each.  After the $1.00/2 coupon from RP 8/28, they were $.68 each.

8 cans of Libby’s Canned Vegetables were $.75 each.  After the $1.00/4 coupon from RP 8/28, they were $.50 each.

8 packs or Oral-B floss were $1.08 each.  After the $.75/1 coupon from P&G 8/28, they were $.33 each.

2 boxes of Velveeta Cheesy Skillets were $1.75 each.  After the $1.00/1 coupon from SS 8/21, they were $.75 each.

2 packs of Cascade Trial packs were $.97 each.  After the $1.00/1 coupon from P&G 8/28, the were :fr: with a $.03 overage.  (My last 2 coupons, a moment of silence)

2 packs of Bic pens were $.97 each.  After the $1.00/2 coupon from SS 7/31, they were $.47 each.

I also several items for :fr: using coupons from the BlogHer convention we went to a few weeks ago.

2 Dole fruit in gel cups – $2.08 each

2 Dole fruit parfait cups – $2.08 each

2 Dole fruit in jars – $2.18 each

1 Hillshire Farm Lunch Meat – $5.48

3 Stacy’s chips – $2.68 each

2 Michael Angelo’s Frozen Meals (Chicken Piccata, can’t wait to try this!) – $6.68 each

You may also see a tube of Arm & Hammer Toothpaste in there.  I have no idea how much I spent on that or what coupon I used or even when I got it.  It has been in the trunk since whenever I got it and I just found it today.  It wasn’t supposed to be in the pic but I didn’t catch it in time and I don’t feel like dragging everything back out for another pic.

All total, I got $89.34 worth of food and other products for just $24.45.  That’s a savings of $64.89 or 73%!

How did you do this week?

Shopped WM this past week. Total on one checkout came to $309., paid $226. after coupons. We usually have to check out several times, or their eyes start to glaze over as I hand them my Q’s ONE AT A TIME. Ran in 2 nights ago, had only six Q’s, and the CSM himself failed to scan my second .75 Smucker’s Q. He had to loudly ask Cust Svc to refund it, and she made him dig the Q out of the slot compartment under the register so she could attach it. He coupons himself, so I thought he could handle 6 big ole Q’s without my having to dole them out. Well, customers have starting cornering me and asking me questions because they say I am “the coupon lady.” Prtty cool to be able to give tips to help people keep their money out of the Waltons’ pockets by having the manufacturers pay them!

Experiences like that are precisely why Dian started her site and why I decided to start this one. The stores aren’t doing training on coupons so there needs to be someone who is on the consumer’s side who is experienced enough to help. I love helping people save!

    Hi Free at the Mart,

What part of the store do you find the Cascade trial packs in? I keep looking at my store and can’t find them? Thank you 🙂

Mine were on the same aisle as the other Cascade products. Sometimes they are on the shelf, sometimes they are on one of those clip-sticks hanging on the aisle.
