Walmart Shopping Trip 12/30

This week was a little weird because there haven’t been any new coupons in a few weeks.  My shopping trip relied heavily on price matches and a bunch of coupons that expire tomorrow that I had to use or lose.  Before we get into this, remember that you can follow me on FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube, RSS, or email to never miss a deal.  Here we go!

2 packs of Brawny Paper Towels – $6.97 – $5.00/1 coupon I got from a vendor at BlogHer – Final: $1.97 each

2 boxes of Puffs Tissues – Normally $2.12, I price matched Albertson’s to $.69 each – Final: $.69 each

4 packs of Birds Eye Vegetables – $1.25 each – I used a $.50/2 coupon from 11/13 SS – Final: $1.00 each

2 Texas Toast Croutons – $1.36 – I used the $.40/1 coupon from SS 11/13 – Final: $.96 each

2 bottles of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing – Normally $2.98, I price matched Tom Thumb to $1.99 – Final: $1.99 each

4 cans of Scotch-Brite Disinfecting Wipes – $2.48 each – I used the printable BOGO coupon available here – Final: $1.24 each

2 Mr. Clean Magic Erasers – Normally $1.97, I price matched Albertson’s to $.99 – Final: $.99 each

5 bottles of KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce – $1.38 each – I used the $.50/1 coupon from SS 9/25 – Final: $.88 each

2 boxes of Dulcolax laxatives – $1.48 each – I used the $5.00/2 coupon available here – Final: :fr: with $2.04 overage!

1 box of Huggies Wipes – $2.42 – I used a $2.00/1 coupon that I think I got in the mail a couple months ago then forgot about. Always a good idea to go through your binder! – Final: $.42

2 bottles of RevitaLens solution – $3.98 – I used the $3.00/1 coupon from SS 12/4 – Final: $.98 each

The rest is produce I priced matched to local stores, if you aren’t in my area this isn’t available to you.  If you are interested, the store names are El Rancho, El Ahorro and Elrod’s.

Bananas – Normally $.54lb, I price matched to 3lbs/$1 – Final: $1.00 Total
Limes – Normally $.24 each, I price matched to 15/$1.00 – Final: $1.00 Total
Avocados – Normally $.69 each, I price matched to 3/$1.00 – Final: $2.00 Total
Oranges – Normally $.74 each, I price matched to 15/$1.00 – Final: $1.00 Total
Tomatoes – Normally $1.34lb, I price matched to 3lbs/$1.00 – Final: $1.00 Total
Jalapenos – Normally $.68lb, I price matched to 2lbs/$.99 – Final: $.99 Total

All together, I got $117.68 worth of food and other products for $50.79, that’s a savings of $66.89 or 57%!

How did you do this week?

Do you recall the vendor’s name where you purchased coupons? I am not familiar with Blogher and was not able to find anything there. Thanks!

I didn’t buy them, they were given to me at Blogher, a convention I went to last summer. I doubt they are available anywhere.
