Walmart shopping Trip

Manda Filbin Palusinski It’s not complicated. According to heir policies you don’t need the ad but I always take them anyway. I use my price match lists (link below) to check off what I want to buy and print out my personalized shopping list. After I get what I need I put everything on the conveyor belt at the cashier with the price matched items at the rear of the belt. Then as the cashier is ringing me up, I just tell them that everything past a certain point is price matched. When they get there I just start saying “Roma Tomatoes are 2lbs/$1.00 at a local store” and they type it in as they go. If there is a significant price drop they will occasionally ask to see the ad to verify but that almost never happens. In fact the 2 times it’s happened to me (and I price match 1-3 times a week for about a year or so), one girl was new and another guy had just gotten disciplined for something so was on his best behavior. It’s very easy and as long as you have a plan, will go very quickly. Then you use your coupons like normal and leave!

Hi: Is there somewhere I can go to view WalMart’s rules on price matching? Also, do you do it at the register or do you have to go to the service desk to price match? Thanks so much ~ love your blog!

If you look at the top of my site where it says “Walmart Coupon Policy”, click that and the price match policy is included in the coupon policy page.

You can do it right at the register, just tell the cashier that you have PM’s before the transaction starts and tell them the price as you go!

I LOVE the Walmart price matching policy! My store even has the week’s fliers at the service desk in case you forget yours.

Thanks for linking up at The Peaceful Mom!
