Missing Something?

Several people have mentioned that they aren’t seeing the updates from Grocery Shop For :fr: on Facebook anymore.

Well, as I mentioned before Facebook is deciding what you see based on your interactions.

So, if you like something or share something – that’s what they will show you more often.

They are deciding for you.  This annoys me, in that, if I choose to “Like” a Facebook page that should tell Facebook that’s what I “Like” and want to see…  But, they have decided that not only do you need to “Like” something, but, you have to “Like” the updates posted om that page and “Share” them as well to be able to see them in your stream.

I try to post each thing more than once a day so that you might see them.  Sometimes I post three times in a row just to see it in MY OWN stream!  That’s nuts!  lol

When I post, Facebook shows me for each post how many people’s streams it goes into per post.  Of the 22,000 plus people who have liked the page an average of 5% actually get it in their stream – that’s nuts, too!  Sometimes it’s only shown to less than 100 people!

It’s pretty frustrating to me, too, knowing that people want to see the updates, and I can’t get the updates to them!

So, if you are missing these updates, and rest assured I am posting regularly, then you can either just go straight to the Facebook page to see what’s new, or to Grocery Shop For :fr:.  You can also choose to get the daily emails that go our every afternoon with all the day’s posts in it (just make sure it doesn’t go to your spam folder – sometimes it does on mine.  It goes out between 3-5 pm CST).  Or if you use a reader, you can get the RSS feed for the website, too.

I tweet everything as well as post to Google+, Pinterest, & Reclip.it.

Another great way to not miss any of the posts is to download the new Grocery Shop For :fr: Android App!  It’s available in the Google Play Market.

There are many ways to get the updates, other than Facebook, if you are missing them on Facebook.

If something new shows up on Facebook that allows you to see the posts, I will let you know – if you figure something out, please let me know, too!  🙂
