Nice Little Haul from Walmart this week!

Just got back from Walmart with some really good deals!

Before we get into this, do you like :fr: Guacamole?  Of course you do!  Enter to win a Wholly Guacamole Prize Pack here!

First, I got 4 bottles of Gain dish detergent.  They are $.97 but after the $.50/1 coupon from RP 8/14 they were $.47 each.

Next, I got 2 sample packages of Tide.  They were $.97 each but after the $1.00/1 coupon from 7/31 P&G they were :fr: with a $.03 overage.

Next I got 2 packs of Expo Markers.  They were $1.47 each but after the $2.00/2 printable coupon they were $.47 each.  (Last week there was a Walgreen’s price match that would have made these :fr: but I didn’t have my Walgreen’s ad with me to see if that sale was still current.  My lack of organizational skills strikes again.)

Next, I got 4 Red cross First Aid kits.  They are $.97 each but after the $1.50/2 coupon from RP 7/31 they were $.22 each.

Next, I got 2 packs of Bic pens.  They are $.97 each but after the $1.00/2 coupon from SS 7/31 they were $.47 each.

Finally, I grabbed 2 boxes of Milk Bone Dog Treats.  They are $2.37 each but after the $1.50/2 coupon from RP 8/14 they were $1.62 each.  That wasn’t the best deal in the world but Molly has gotten increasingly grumpy over the last couple days without her treats.  She really doesn’t get the whole “wait for a sale and stock up” thing.

Also, I also grabbed two sample packs of Cascade, normally $.97 each but after the $1.00/1 coupon from 7/31 P&G they are :fr: with a $.03 overage.  The reason you can’t see them is either I left them at the register or in the cart or something because they didn’t make it home.  Cryin’ shame too because I use the heck out of those things.  Oh well.

All total, that’s $21.26 worth of products for $7.80, a savings of $13.46 or 63%.  Not too bad, I guess.  How did you do this week?

Did you have any trouble using the Tide coupons for the sample packages? I went to Walmart last week to try this deal but I couldn’t find any of the sample packages, so I went to Target to try it and the coupons beeped, they would not let me use them.

Erin » No, the only issue is there is a limit of 4 that seems to carry over all the P&G coupons. For instance, if you use 4 coupons for Cascade, you can’t also use 4 coupons for Tide. Not because of the coupon but because of how the registers are programmed. I’ve only seen this at Walmart, not sure about Target.
