If you’re looking for a unique and immersive experience this spring, the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie, Texas, is a must-visit. From April 5 to May 26, 2025, every weekend (including Memorial Day Monday) transforms into a 16th-century English village bustling with entertainment, artisans, and delectable food.

The 44th Annual Scarborough Renaissance Festival is interactive fun for the whole family, 16th Century style! This North Texas tradition invites you to step back in time for the time of your life into our re-created 16th Century English Village to enjoy the jousting (all-new for 2025), birds of prey exhibitions, Mermaid Lagoon, and 20+ stages of non-stop Renaissance entertainment including over a dozen new shows for 2025. There are also children’s knighting Ceremonies, Human Chess Matches, the Grande Parade, the Royal Menagerie Petting Zoo, and so much more.

Discover treasures in the 200 shoppes of the Artisan’s Marketplace along with authentic artisan demonstrations. New for 2025 are over 30 new shoppes, a Viking Artisan Village, and an RPG.

Feast on food fit for Royalty with our famous giant smoked Turkey Legs, the largest food-on-a-stick selection in Texas, and delicious new treats like S’Mores on a stick. Plus, delectable fresh from scratch favorites from the Village Bakery, Pasta Palace, and more!

Each weekend has a different theme and a variety of special events including, Viking and Barbarian weekend, Celtic Weekend, Fantasy Weekend, the Artisan\’s Showcase, Kids Free on Mother’s Day May 11th, and so much more!

  • Dates & Times: Open Saturdays, Sundays, and Memorial Day Monday from April 5 to May 26, 2025, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM .
  • Location: 2511 FM 66, Waxahachie, TX 75167.​
  • Entertainment: Enjoy full-combat jousting, Birds of Prey exhibitions, the Mermaid Lagoon, and over 20 stages of live performances.​
  • Artisan Marketplace: Explore over 200 shoppes featuring handcrafted items, with artisans demonstrating age-old crafts.​
  • Culinary Delights: Indulge in giant turkey legs, Scottish eggs, handmade pastas, and more across five food courts.​
  • Themed Weekends: Each weekend offers a unique theme, such as Celtic Weekend, Viking & Barbarian Weekend, and Chivalry Weekend.​

Ticket Information:

  • Adult (13+): $38 at the gate.​
  • Child (5-12): $18 at the gate. Children 4 and under are always free.​
  • Special Offers: Children 12 & under get free admission on Opening Weekend (April 5-6) and Mother’s Day (May 11).​
