Have you heard of Sticki Mates? I’ll bet the kids in your life have!
Sticki Rolls sent me their Sticki Mates Series 3 to check out and share with you, and these are one of those little gifts that would work for all kinds of occasions. Back to school, birthdays, stocking stuffers, Easter baskets, rewards, or just one of those “I saw this and thought you’d like it” gifts.
And if you have a kid who loves stickers? Well, they’ve pretty much got you covered.
So, What Are Sticki Mates?
Sticki Rolls Sticki Mates are little collectible characters that are also sticker dispensers.
The fun characters are actually holding the stickers.
Each Sticki Mate is about 3 inches tall and comes with five Sticki Rolls, which works out to 50 stickers. The stickers feed right through the character, so kids can pull one out, tear it off, use it, trade it, give it to a friend, or cover every available surface they can find because…kids and stickers…. iykyk
There’s also a clip so they can attach their Sticki Mate to a backpack, lunch bag, purse, or whatever else they’re carrying around.
This Is Where the Back-to-School Idea Comes In
I can see these being really fun for back-to-school season because they’re small enough to clip right onto a backpack.
It’s not another notebook. It’s not another package of pencils. And it’s definitely more exciting than socks.
Kids can carry the stickers with them and share or trade them with friends, plus the Sticki Mate itself becomes a little backpack accessory.
There are 10 different Sticki Mates characters to collect, and each one has its own look and personality. The character you get is a surprise, which adds that whole mystery-unboxing thing kids seem to love.
And, of course, that also means they’ll probably immediately decide they need another one.

You Get 50 Stickers With Each One
One thing I like is that you’re not buying the character and then immediately discovering you have to buy everything else separately before the kid can actually use it.
Each Sticki Mate comes with five rolls of Series 3 Sticki Rolls, with 50 stickers altogether.
The little backpack on the character also stores the extra sticker rolls, so when one roll is finished, another one can be loaded into the dispenser.
The Sticki Mates are also compatible with other Sticki Rolls, so the character isn’t finished once those first stickers are gone. You can refill it with more rolls.
A Cute Little Gift Without Making It a Whole Big Thing
Sometimes you don’t need a giant gift.
You need something fun.
That’s where I think Sticki Mates fit really well.
They’re the kind of thing you could tuck into a birthday gift, add to a gift basket, give as a little back-to-school surprise, use as a stocking stuffer, or keep on hand when you need a small gift for a kid and don’t want to show up with another random plastic thing that doesn’t really do anything.
It’s a collectible, but it’s also something they can use.
The manufacturer recommends Sticki Mates for ages 5 and up, and I think the sweet spot is probably kids who are already into stickers, collectibles, backpack charms, trading things with friends, or anything involving a surprise character.
Which, let’s face it, covers quite a few kids.
Stickers You Can Take Anywhere
I think that’s probably the smartest part of the whole idea.
Instead of keeping a sheet or book of stickers at home, kids can clip the dispenser onto their bag and have a little roll of stickers with them.
Pull one out. Tear it off. Done.
And because the extra rolls store inside the Sticki Mate’s little backpack, everything stays together instead of having five tiny rolls of stickers scattered across the bottom of an actual backpack.
Anything that helps prevent the bottom-of-the-backpack abyss gets bonus points from me.
