Some days, work is long and hard. Between running 2 very demanding blogs and watching our beautiful granddaughter, things can get really crazy. What I’ve learned is that the best way to deal with all that is to head out on to the front porch, feel the sun on my face and eat a quick snack. Lately my go-to snack has been goodnessknows® snack squares.
I first saw them at a tasting event at my local Walmart. I’m always a sucker for anything tasty being given out for free so I took a sample.
It was quite good and once the sample girl told me that they are made with real fruit, dark chocolate and whole nuts in bite-size portion, I was sold. I knew I was picking up a few packs for the house.
I saw them at my local Walmart up near the registers. I happened to have a nice $.50/2 printable coupon for them so I decided to pick a few up. There are 3 varieties to choose from:
- goodnessknows® Cranberry, Almond, Dark Chocolate
- goodnessknows® Apple, Almond & Peanut, Dark Chocolate
- goodnessknows® Peach & Cherry, Almond, Dark Chocolate
Unfortunately, my store didn’t carry the Peach variety but the other 2 are very good. In fact, I’m not usually a big fan of cranberries outside of Thanksgiving but I really enjoyed it in the snack square. It was a little tart and a little sweet so it went together well. Also, none of the goodnessknows® snack squares have HFCS and are only 150 calories so I didn’t have to feel guilty about indulging.
