The Dallas Arboretum Celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. With $5 Admission!
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden invites the community to the garden. As part of the January promotion, admission to the Arboretum is $5 now through January 31. The discount applies only to those purchasing tickets onsite at the ticket booth. Mary Brinegar, Dallas Arboretum president, said, “Since many students and adults have Dr. King’s birthday as a holiday and are looking for things to do as a family, we want to invite them to visit the garden together. We encourage guests to bring a picnic or have lunch or seated tea at the Restaurant DeGolyer.”
DallasChild has named the Dallas Arboretum as the best place to get outdoors, and USA Today has named the Dallas Arboretum as one of the 10 best outdoor activities in Dallas.
