Real Housewives Of AtlantaThe Real Housewives Of Atlanta 2/8/15 – My Take

After watching The Real Housewives Of Atlanta this week I had some thoughts to share:

I am so over Kenya in total, but the twirl and her thinking she invented something… ummm no, just no, and “Gone With The Wind Fabulous”?… ugh let it go

Phaedra’s situation is so sad.  She is going through so much and those boys are so little.  I am not sure if she will stay on the show, she may not even be able to keep up with all of her businesses.  She’ll want to devote more time to her boys, she just seems so sad.

There was just bad news all the way around 🙁  Kandi’s tour was cancelled and that really broke her heart.  I also think she is way too passive.  She let’s Don Juan make fun of Todd and let’s her Mother be rude to him.  I didn’t see the whole picture before now, she always felt bad standing up to her Mom cause she felt it was disrespectful, but, there are lines that have to be drawn for the health of a parent- adult child relationship.  But, now that I see she can’t even stand up for Todd with Don Juan, what makes an employee feel that it’s ok to disrespect the boss or the boss’ husband?  She stands up for herself, but, what about having Todd’s back?  She’d better figure this out in a hurry or this marriage might be doomed.  It’s sad, too because I like Kandi.

Phaedra’s Mom is pretty harsh, she may be right, though – Apollo is pretty immature.  He seems to have trouble with his emotions, one minute he’s calm and loving and the next he’s flying off the handle.  I do wonder how Phaedra handles things when the camera is off.  I know she is always hyper aware on camera, but, it makes me think off camera she might be much different.  Every time Apollo is around lately she’s like a shy, quiet, little girl, or when someone is discussing him with her, like her Mom.  I just wonder if that’s for the camera…. she is a lawyer after all and there’s probably going to be a divorce and custody battle at some point, she may be playing for the cameras to back up her case when it’s time, who knows?  This marriage was kinda doomed from the start – I think there was a rush to the altar, if you recall, she tried to make everyone believe otherwise, but, she said she might have been a month or month and a half  pregnant before she got married and she tried very hard not to let that be known by anyone.

So, that’s my take – what’s yours?
