Another way you can get perks from shopping at Ulta is to keep a lookout for Bonus Offers.  These are point multiplier purchases you get when you buy a specific product or brand.

It may be tempting to use the points you’ve earned from shopping at Ulta.  But as a tip, it’s best to just hoard and forget about it for a while until you reach 2,000 points.  

The reason for this is that when you get 2,000 points, you will receive a $125 discount on your purchase! 

Platinum Status

We earlier mentioned the Platinum status on your Ultamate Rewards account.  In a nutshell, it gives you more points and bonus offers. 

Standard users earn 1% in points on purchases made.  But as a Platinum status holder, you get to earn 1.25% in points, free shipping on beauty purchases made during the 21 Days of Beauty event, and non-expiring points.  

So how do you become a Platinum member?  You only have to spend $500 in a calendar year and maintain that status until December 31 of the next year. 

If you aim to qualify as a Platinum member during the early months of the year, you get to keep your status much longer.  You will need to re-qualify every year so you can keep your status. 

And if you’re a beauty product enthusiast, you can qualify for the Diamond status when you spend $1,200 in a calendar year. 

This status will entitle you to get 1.5% in points on each purchase you make, free shipping on online purchases over $25, and an annual $25 beauty services reward card.
