Aftershokz sent me a pair of their bone conducting headphones to review last week and I have to say, these are the coolest things I’ve seen in my life. They don’t go in your ear like traditional headphones or earbuds, they fit go near the ear and conduct the sound through vibrations into the inner ear.

I was a bit skeptical at first because it just seemed so weird but for the last few days I’ve been using them while I ride my bike and they work unbelievably well. Not only could I listen to my podcasts and music while on my bike but since my ears were unobstructed, I could also hear what was going on around me. No more having cars sneak up behind me while I’m getting my miles in. (Those dang hybrids are sneaky!)
