My family growing up didn’t go on camping trips. The first time I ever went was with my older brother, who went ALL the time, after we were both married.
He and his wife had all their supplies always packed and ready to go so they could take off at any time. We went in November in Texas, so the weather wasn’t unbearable by any means.
