Nature Valley Review and Giveaway

Nature Valley has provided me several of their new products to review and they are giving away 2 $25 prize packs to 2 lucky winners!

Here’s what we are looking at.  I’ll put the official description of each item followed by my review.

· Nature Valley Breakfast Biscuits are a great way to start the day and help make mornings easier and more delicious. Made with real blueberries and honey, Nature Valley Breakfast Biscuits provide a wonderful combination of convenience, great taste and breakfast satisfaction, offering more than 26 grams of whole grain in each four-biscuit serving. Available in two delicious varieties – Blueberry and Honey.

These are really a neat idea.  My son got his first job at McDonalds but he doesn’t have his license yet so I have to drive him to work every morning.  It’s been so great to be able to grab a pack of these Breakfast Biscuits as we are walking out the door.  I got to try 2 different varieties (Honey and Blueberry) and they both taste great.

· Nature Valley Greek Yogurt Protein Bars are a delicious, protein snack option perfect for an active lifestyle, offering a great source of protein while you are on-the-go. Made with real fruit, crunchy peanut and almond pieces, the bars offer 10 grams of protein per serving. Available in two fruit varieties – Mixed Berry and Strawberry.

I have a sweet tooth.  Every night about 10PM, I start jonesing for something sweet and these Yogurt Protein bars have really hit the spot.  Just the right amount of sweet and with 190 calories, I don’t have to worry about it ruining my diet.

· Nature Valley Protein Granola in Cranberry Almond is a loose, bagged granola with energy from whole grain to keep you going. Made with natural ingredients, including real almonds and sweetened cranberry pieces, each serving contains 10 grams of protein and at least 22 grams of whole grain (48 grams of whole grain recommended daily). Also available in two additional varieties, Oats ‘n Honey and Oats ‘n Dark Chocolate, Nature Valley Protein Granola can be found in the granola aisle at retailers nationwide.

I don’t normally eat granola, I’m more of a trail mix with nuts and chocolate kind of guy, so this product was the one I was least excited about.  It tastes good but it was a little difficult to eat.  The granola pieces are very small so you either have to pour them into your mouth or try to grab a few pieces at a time but you always drop a few on the way from the bag to your mouth.  It tastes great but be prepared to sweep the floor after you eat from the bag.

So lets get to the important stuff.  How do you win??!!

Couldn’t be easier, just leave a comment and click the button in the Rafflecopter widget and you are entered.  If you would like bonus entries, there are a few other things you can do as well.  Good Luck!
