I am really enjoying the Mrs. Dash campaign I am a part of this year! They have supplied me with a great deal of their spices!
My family and I have loved using them on everything from eggs to hamburgers, soups to sauces and everything in between!
We love that they are all salt-free. My hubby and Mom (who is with us for a while) have blood pressure issues so we steer away from salt and Mrs. Dash salt-free spices have made that so easy without losing any of the flavor!
Here are a few of the recipes they gave me to share with you:
Grilled Mexican Chicken
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 40 min
Cook Time : 10 min
Ready In: 50 min
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash® Southwest Chipotle Blend
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 half red onion, slivered
4 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. black pepper
cooking spray
Directions
1. Gently pound chicken breast halves to 1/4 inch consistency.
2. Toss with Mrs. Dash® Southwest Chipotle Blend, red onion, garlic and pepper. Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature.
3. Preheat grill or cast iron grill plate. Spray with cooking spray.
4. Cook chicken about 4-5 minutes on each side. Carefully mark on both sides turning evenly for equal lines to form cross marks. Remove.
5. Rest partially covered with foil.

Honey Glazed Carrots
Serves: 4

Ingredients
1 1/2 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash® Original Blend
3 carrots, peeled, cut into 2 inch by 1/2 inch strips
1 tsp. ginger, grated
2 Tbsp. dark raisins, soaked in 3 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. honey
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Directions
1. Heat a 6-7 inch sauté pan to medium.
2. Add olive oil. Sauté carrots lightly until just under crisp. Remove to bowl and reserve.
3. Add raisins with the water, ginger, honey and Mrs. Dash® Original Blend. Stir.
4. Add carrots and reheat.

Savory Summer Salad
Serves: 4

Ingredients
Salad
1 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb Blend
1 beef top sirloin steak, cut ¾ inch thick (about 1 lb)
1 medium onion, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 medium tomato, sliced
4 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and sliced
New York Style® Sea Salt Bagel Crisps®
Dressing
2 Tsp. Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb Blend
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Directions
1. Whisk dressing ingredients in small bowl. Reserve ¼ cup dressing for salad. Brush remaining dressing on onion slices.
2. Heat grill or cast iron grill plate.
3. Rub beef with 1 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash® Garlic & Herb Blend. Grill steak 7 to 13 minutes to desired doneness, turning occasionally. Slice steak.
4. Grill onion 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender.
5. Arrange lettuce on serving platter and top with sliced steak, tomatoes, onion and eggs. Drizzle with reserved 1/3 cup dressing. Serve Bagel Crisps® on the side.
