Taco Frito Pie

WALMART PRICE MATCH RECIPE: TACO FRITO PIE

When we think about easy and inexpensive meals the whole family loves we automatically go for this Walmart Price Match Recipe: Taco Frito Pie.  Instead of the traditional chili and cheese found we dress this up with taco seasoned meat, beans, lettuce, tomato and cheese for a mix that is a cross between a Frito Pie and a Taco Salad.  It is not only yummy but inexpensive and a great way to stretch the budget on meat in an evening meal.

This week we will be using the following Walmart Price Match Items:

Crystal Farms Shredded Cheese $2.00 Price Matched To ElRods

Frito Chips 10.25oz $1.75  Price Matched To Tom Thumb

Green Giant Canned Pinto Beans $.60 Price Matched To Fiesta/DFW

Honeysuckle Ground Turkey 1 Pound Roll $2.50 Price Matched To Albertson’s

This Taco Frito Pie is not only quick and easy to make for your family, it is super budget friendly.  The addition of canned beans stretches the 1 pound of meat farther and allows for a hearty meal without the added cost.
