Do you enjoy drinking beer? I was contacted by Brewferm to try their beer making kit at home and share it with you.
Some people enjoy have a beer at dinner or to cap the day off while there are others who love drinking beer while watching games with friends or having a barbecue.
However, if you drink beer everyday, chances are, it could get expensive. Also, if you consume the same brand over and over again it could get boring.
Why don’t you try brewing beer at home?
Brewing beer at home is easy! If you can make mac and cheese from the box, you can definitely make your own beer at home.
First: Gather The Key Ingredients
Before you start the brewing process, you must first know that there are four key ingredients when it comes to brewing a batch of beer:
Water
Water makes up 90 percent of the brew, so the kind of water you’ll use makes a big difference. Although bottled or distilled water is preferred, you can still use tap water. If you use tap water, make sure to boil it first so that the chlorine and other chemicals will not interfere with the overall brewing process.
Hops
Hops are cone-like flowers that you can find on hop vines. They give a bitter flavor that can balance out the sweetness of the beer. Hops can also inhibit spoilage and allows the frothy top when the beer is poured to stay longer.
Yeast
This is very important: Do not use bread yeast when brewing beer!
Brewing beer boils down to mixing a mash of malted grain with hops then fermenting it with ale or lager yeast.
The yeast you use will determine the brew that you will end up with. Ales create darker and more alcoholic booze while lagers are a crisp, light, and golden beer.
Fermentable Sugar
The most common ingredient to use to fill the sugar quota in a home brew recipe is malted barley. However, you can also use corn, rice, wheat, or other grains to lighten the flavor.
If you’re a beginner, you can use ready-to-use options like malt extract or malt syrup.
Each of these ingredients are important to the recipe. They must also be cooked in a certain way to yield a successful batch of brewed beer.
Always Sanitize
The worst situation to encounter whenever you are brewing beer is that after several weeks of fermentation, your drink is spoiled.
Before you start the whole process, you need to ensure that all your equipment and work area are clean and well sanitized to prevent spoilage and foul tastes in your beer.
Starting The Process
You have two choices when starting the process:
You can prepare all the equipment one by one or you can also use a craft beer kit which contains everything you need when it comes to brewing beer at home.
One of the best brewing kits available in the market is from BrewFerm.
Introducing: The BrewFerm Buckriders Belgian Home Brewing Deluxe Craft Beer Kit.

Brewferm makes homebrewing craft Belgian beer easy!
Buckriders developed their own unique, rich style of beer that is still brewed in their Belgium homeland today, and sought out by beer lovers worldwide.
This is the way to start your brewing tradition. A beautiful, heavy duty fermentation bucket, and all the tools you need to get started brewing your own custom homebrew.

The BrewFerm Buckriders Belgian Home Brewing Deluxe Craft Beer Kit comes with everything that you need.
Each kit contains:

It truly comes with everything you need. It was so simple and actually fun. We couldn’t wait for it to ferment so we could try it out. We actually liked the one we chose very much.
The only things we needed to purchase extra for the kit we were sent were the glass DIY at home beer bottles (which we also found that some glass bottles from other beers and soft drinks can be sanitized and used, too.), the caps, and the capping tool.
All of which can be reused except the caps (and actually some of the DIY brew at home beer bottles come with reusable caps, too.) so the investment isn’t bad.
