All About Amazon Baby Registry

in Amazon, Amazon Bargains, Great Deals, Most Recent, Store Savings Guides, Tips on 01/26/23

Giving gifts is great — as is receiving them. But there are times when the gifts you get from family members and friends are not something you can use or sometimes, you already have them.

Baby clothes like shoes and towel
With the Amazon baby registry, you can start completing your baby needs or give others the list of things that you want to receive.

To make sure that you get the items that are on your wish list for your new baby, having an Amazon registry is the key.

Having a registry allows you to keep your shopping list in one place, lets your family and friends know exactly what you want (from the brand to the model), and helps you save on the overwhelming cost of everything you need for your baby.

A lot of readers want to know all about Amazon Household and how it can help them save more money.

What Is Amazon Household And How To Use It

What Is Amazon Gift Registry?

Anyone can create an Amazon Gift Registry.

All you need to have is an Amazon account and you can create a registry for your baby, a wedding, and even a birthday.

How To Get Started

To start a registry, you need to do your shopping first. Make sure to do this before your due date.

Go to the main Amazon Baby Registry page, then click the “Create a New Baby Registry” button. You’ll need your:

  • name
  • address
  • expected due date
  • shipping address.

Shop by category or surf the different items available on Amazon. From there, you can choose the item you want and add those to your gift registry.

Once you’ve set up your registry, you can start sharing your Amazon registry URL with your family and friends. Once they complete their purchases, they can mark them as “purchased” so you won’t get any duplicates.

The good thing about a gift registry is that the items can be shipped directly to your address. Amazon also keeps the name of the purchaser and the list of items purchased so it’s easy for the registrant to send thank you notes.

Why Should You Use An Amazon Gift Registry?

Get A Completion Discount

Once you register with Amazon, you’ll get a “completion discount.”

This will give you 10% off, and 15% off if you’re a Prime member, as a one-time purchase discount when you purchase products from your own registry.

You’ll get an email from Amazon about the completion discount 60 days before your due date and you have 60 days after your due date to take advantage of it. This means you can save on big ticket items like a stroller, a crib or a car seat to get more savings.

Enjoy 365-Day Returns

If you don’t like or need the gift you received, you have at least 365 days after the date of the shipment to return it.

You can get a credit and the gift giver will never find out that you returned/exchanged it.

FREE Two-Day Shipping

Prime members can automatically get two-day shipping for FREE on their orders.

If you’re not a Prime member, you can still take advantage of this free shipping perk by ordering more than $25.

Receive A Welcome Box

Who doesn’t love FREE gifts, right?

The Amazon Welcome Box comes with free products from brands that you can try out. It includes items, mostly sample size for the mom and the baby.

However, this Amazon Welcome Box will not come automatically with your registry. You must be an Amazon Prime member and complete at least 60 percent of your checklist.

If you want to save even more, you should know what Amazon coupons are to get more discounts and perks

Amazon Coupons Where To Find Them & How To Use Them

With the Amazon baby registry, you can get baby gear for your little one as easily and as early as possible.

There’s no reason not to register with Amazon. Whether you use it as a checklist for your family and friends or as a reminder for yourself, you can save a lot of money by purchasing from Amazon.
