Chocolate Ice Cream Cups
During a hot summer day, I was craving a cool and tasty treat to enjoy. I decided to experiment with making chocolate ice cream cups and was pleasantly surprised by how easy and delicious they turned out.
These chocolate ice cream cups are a fun twist on traditional ice cream cones. The crispy chocolate shell pairs perfectly with the creamy ice cream filling, creating a delightful contrast of textures and flavors.

What You Need:
- Chocolate Candy Melt or Chocolate Chips
- Aluminum Foil or Aluminum Baking Cups
- Fixings for Ice Cream Sundae
Directions:
Line a cupcake pan with foil or use the aluminum cupcake holders.
Melt the chocolate melt in the microwave at 50% power for 1 minute. Stir and then heat for an additional 30 seconds at 50% power. Keep doing this until the chocolate is smooth.

Put a small amount of chocolate into each cupcake holder. With the back of a spoon, brush the chocolate up the sides of the pan. You might want to wait a couple of minutes for the chocolate to cool before brushing it up the sides again. Place the pan in the refrigerator.
After an hour, remove the foil from the pan. Carefully peel the foil away from the chocolate. Store in the refrigerator until you are ready to use.

Store any leftover chocolate ice cream cups in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week. Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to soften slightly.

For a dairy-free version, use your favorite non-dairy ice cream. You can also experiment with different types of chocolate or add mix-ins like cookie crumbles or caramel sauce.
