9 Things You Should Always Buy At Dollar Tree

in Dollar Tree, Instagram, Most Popular, Store Savings Guides on 01/13/23

Dollar Tree is a fun place to shop. I feel like, aside from the fact that everything is just $1 for real, that they have an ever changing inventory in the stores.

Dollar Tree is a great place to save money, IF you know WHAT to buy.

I also love that they take coupons, which many people didn’t know. They didn’t start taking coupons until a few years ago. Just be sure when you use them there that the item matches exactly.

I often went in and purchased A&D ointment with a coupon that made it a great deal, until one day when I looked closely and noticed that it wasn’t really A&D but it was packaged as a look alike. That mean all that time I was using a coupon and the cashier and I neither noticed that it didn’t match, ugh!

You can use coupons to make shopping at Dollar Tree even better.

Buying something for just one dollar might seem too good to be true, but for Dollar Tree, it’s the truth. We’ve all been to so called “Dollar Stores” before where almost nothing was a dollar, but not Dollar Tree – they stay true to the name.

If you’re not shopping at Dollar Tree, you’re missing out. There are a lot of great finds: From home decor, essentials, food, gifts, gift bags, and even brand-name goods!

One of my favorite things to buy there are party decorations. It gives you great ideas and also great props and party supplies, including wrapping paper at the right price (certainly better than any other local dollar store)!

However, Dollar Tree can also lure you in with their rock bottom prices. Which sometimes can be a hit or miss. There are times when you get what you pay for, but there are also other things that they sell which can give you a good bargain so it’s a great place to shop.

If you’re looking for good products with tremendous discounts, here are 9 items that you should always buy at Dollar Tree!

1. Storage Containers

Do you hate clutter? Or maybe you’re trying a new organizational system.

You can organize clutter with containers then store them under the bed or inside your pantry and closet.

The Dollar Tree has a wide selection of containers (way more than any grocery store I have ever been to) that can help you organize the rooms in your house or your home office. These storage containers are also perfect for your clothes, craft supplies, toys, pantry essentials, and more and the prices can’t be beat for this good deal.

2. Party Supplies

You can buy paper plates, plastic spoons and forks, and even balloons for your next party.

You can save up to 70% with the party supplies from the Dollar Tree.

While you’re at the store, stock up on paper plates, plastic tablecloths, forks, spoons, party favors, and cups, tissue paper and don’t forget the cleaning supplies. You can save even more if you buy in bulk online and find some of their best deals.

Don’t forget to grab your balloons, too. Dollar Tree sells all sorts of balloons for every occasion for cheap and believe it or not, other stores and online shops sell them for up to five times more.

3. Reading Glasses

As we age we all come to a point where we might just need a pair of reading glasses to be able to see a little better when we read.

A pair of reading glasses might be all you need. And the reading glasses for just a dollar a pair from the Dollar Tree are the perfect solution at a great price, you won’t be able to find a better deal. if you do share it with us!

4. Gardening Supplies

You don’t need to spend a fortune to get started with gardening. Dollar Tree sells soil, rakes, and even garden pots for $1 each.

Your local hardware stores have plenty of gardening supplies and tools to help you get started, but if you’re on a tight budget and just starting out, head over to your local Dollar Tree.

At Dollar Tree, you can find different tools like trowels, rakes, and planters. They even have soil! It’s a great way to make your garden blossom and work on your green thumb for less.

5. Vases

Planning to redecorate?

Maybe you want to give your living room or bedroom a pop of color. Then try adding flowers.

Dollar Tree has an assortment of vases to hold these flowers: They have tall, short, square, round, colorful, clear. The selection is massive! You can easily find the vase you’re looking for without paying more.

6. Make Up

Score brand name make up essentials for just a dollar each.

This one is good news for the make up junkies out there!

Dollar Tree has a wide selection of makeup finds from popular brands, all for just $1. Get several items from L.A. Colors, e.l.f., and Wet ’N Wild!

Stock up on lipsticks, lip gloss, mascara, and even foundation for only $1.

But don’t forget to use coupons to get even more savings from these brands.

7. Toys

Kids will also enjoy a trip to the dollar store since they can find toys and other treats.

You can find your kid’s favorite characters in the aisles scattered around the Dollar Tree. These toys are the perfect reward for the kids. They also work perfectly for stocking and bag fillers too.

8. Books

There are books from popular authors like Nicholas Sparks at Tree.

Do you love reading?

You can find best-selling books from Nicholas Sparks or Ridley Pearson for just $1 each. These books are priced at $8+ when you buy them from local bookstores, so this is a steal.

9. Pregnancy Kits

Why pay $5 to $10 for a pregnancy test (just want to mention when I was using them they cost $30+, so for me – $5 – $10 sounds like a steal) if you can get one for only $1 that works the same?

A lot of people have tried pregnancy kits from the Dollar Tree and they work the same as other name brands.

Other Dollar Store Items That Make A Great Buy:
