Getting cashback and rewards are one of the ways to get the most of your purchases and save a lot of money on the side.  After all, who doesn’t love free money, right?

With the amount of cashback and rewards apps and rebate websites available right now, you might be thinking: What is RebatesMe?

Let’s take a deep dive into RebatesMe and its potential rewards system.

Rebates me is easy to use and can make you extra cash.

What is RebatesMe?

RebatesMe is a cashback website or shopping portal. Think of Rakuten and Swagbucks.

Once you sign up for a RebatesMe account, you can start saving money by just visiting the website, choosing the retail store of your choice, clicking the item that you want, and completing the transaction like a normal shopping website.

RebatesMe gets a referral fee from their partner stores where you buy the product and they share a bit of that fee with you.

Believe it or not, according to their LinkedIn page, they have paid out almost $30 million in rebates.

RebatesMe also offers a great way to earn more: They have a referral program that offers a $10 referral bonus for each referral you make, so be sure to invite friends and turn them into new users!

To get the referral bonuses, your referral should use your unique referral code or referral link, once they register through the website and make their qualifying purchase you get your bonus.

Same as the signup bonus, they should earn at least $10 in cashback before the bonus will be credited to your account.

Refer-a-Friend Limited-Time Promotion Terms and Conditions During the promotion period, members of RebatesMe will be able to earn a $10 credit to their RebatesMe account (the “referral bonus”) upon generating one qualified** referrals.

Installing the Browser Extension

Like many cashback sites, RebatesMe offers a browser extension, also called the Cash Back Button.

The team behind the rewards site claims that with their Google Chrome browser extension you earn up to 55% in cash back to more than 3,000 stores.

While 55% may be true to major sites, keep in mind that most of the time, you’ll earn a cashback rate lower than that.

Installing the browser extension once you set up your new RebatesMe account is also quick and easy: Just install it like a usual browser extension. Once installed, it will give you an alert whenever you visit a store that’s offering cashback and it will provide you a link to activate the offer.

Get the Mobile App

The RebatesMe app is available both via iOS and any Android device.

It looks like the website, but it also offers a more modern interface, especially if you opt to shop using your mobile phone.

What are the Payout Options?

You need to earn a specific amount for you to receive a reward.

This will be credited to your account balance, but you have to clear the refund period, which is normally 90 to 180 business days depending on the store, for you to be able to withdraw the earnings.

Speaking of withdrawing your earnings, you can start withdrawing once you earn at least $10 minimum balance in cashback rewards.

You can choose from a variety of payment methods like:

  • PayPal
  • prepaid Visa card
  • e-gift card
  • paper check

Can I Use It With A Cashback Credit Card?

Yes! You can combine or stack rewards.

The rebates from RebatesMe are separate and you can use it on top of the rewards you’ll be getting from your credit card (and even your debit card) provider, if they allow it.

Is It Legitimate?

You can check the Better Business Bureau page for RebatesMe reviews to get more information about them.

RebatesMe is a legit cashback site that allows you to earn money for your online purchases, but there are also a few things to consider.

The site has a lot of cashback and exclusive offers, with plenty of popular brands to choose from at a decent cashback rate, but can’t cash out immediately (to be fair that is pretty standard across these sites and apps). You may have to wait a while to withdraw your earnings.
