There are a lot of phone apps now that help, too! They often have great deals on fruit and veggies and sometimes free deals for those things! Here’s a list of my favorite apps and how to sign up for them.

There’s no reason to think you have to sacrifice the health of your family to feed them nutritiously. Nor does it mean you have to break the bank to feed them well. No one wants to feel like they are throwing away money.
If you’re not into couponing, that’s OK there are other ways to save on food costs. There are apps, watching the sales, and buying in bulk, shopping at warehouse stores. All of these will help you save in different ways.
As far as finding recipes to fit your family’s needs, the internet is your greatest resource. There are even apps you can use where you plug in what you have on hand and it pops out the recipes you can cook with those ingredients.
It’s not like when your Mom had to buy cookbooks, or cut recipes out of magazines, or use a recipe box and cards to keep track of recipes. We have them right at our fingertips at any point in the day.
Just keep in mind the next time you think, or hear someone say that you can’t make a cheap and healthy recipe – that you absolutely can. I hope the recipes I gathered for you above help you, too.
