Place a small pot of water on your stove top. Bring it to a boil, then to a simmer and add a few drops of lemon essential oil once the water is simmering.

Are There Things I Should Remember When Using These Oils?

• Before using essential oils, talk to your doctor first to make sure it is safe for you.
• If you have sensitive skin, do not apply these oil to your skin directly. Try and dilute them with a carrier oil first. If you spot any redness to your skin, stop using them.
• Citrus-based oils can increase sun sensitivity. After applying them to your skin, make sure to avoid the sun for 12 hours.
• Store these oils away from the sun and moisture. Since they are highly concentrated, these oil can rub off nail polish and paint and can even melt plastic.
• Avoid using plastic or metal utensils and containers when mixing essential oils. Use glass or ceramics instead.
