If there are any available products on sale (and there always seems to be), that would be the best time to purchase! For example, if you see an item marked down from $1,000 to $500 at a competing retailer or something similar, then you could take that to Home Depot, tell the sales associates, and they’ll match the price.

You can online price match through the Home Depot website for any in-stock products online.
However, keep in mind that Home Depot will also factor in the shipping costs when figuring out the price match. Also, if you find a lower online price from Amazon, it should be sold directly by Amazon and not by a 3rd party seller.
Also, the item must be currently available from the competing website and it should be available to be shipped to your address.
